Maria lives in Cornwall and tends to wander for miles along the coast paths for inspiration with no planned route and sometimes no sense of direction! She takes photographs and use them as visual notes. The walking, getting lost and all the characters she sees along her journey tend to pop up in her artwork. She loves narrative and storytelling and mix up snippets of daily life and nature using mixed media techniques.
